Crestwood Election: No Candidates for 2013 Aldermen Race Yet

The pool of candidates is starting empty for next year's Board of Aldermen election in Crestwood. City clerk Tina Flowers said no one had registered on the first day of filing on Tuesday.

The terms of Crestwood aldermen Mimi Duncan (Ward I), Bob Deutschmann (Ward II), Jerry Miguel (Ward III), and John Foote (Ward IV) are expiring. Candidates wishing to file for their wards must obtain signatures from 20 registered voters. 

The filing period will stay open until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15.  Those elected will serve a term of three years. The election is scheduled for April 2, 2013. Learn more on filing for the Crestwood Board of Aldermen.
