Crestwood Savers Opens This Week, Grand Opening on Thursday
A ribbon cutting is scheduled for the morning of Feb. 21.

Savers is celebrating the opening of its fourth store in Missouri with a grand opening at its new Crestwood store, 9618 Watson Rd., Feb. 21-23.
“We’re very excited to open our second store in the St. Louis area,” new store manager Myrten Byrd said in a news release from the company. “The support we’re able to provide the local community makes us proud, and we can’t wait to welcome both new and familiar customers to the store and introduce them to all our great deals offered throughout our aisles.”
The thrift store chain has scheduled a ribbon cutting ceremony for 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 21, which will include representatives from local Savers partner Vietnam Veterans of America.

The store stocks up to 10,000 gently used items every day, according to the release, and all donated items--even ones that don't make it to the sales floor--benefit the Vietnam Veterans of America partnership. The non-profit
"When members of the Crestwood community donate, they are not only giving their goods a second life, they are also turning their otherwise unused goods into sustainable revenue for Vietnam Veterans of America," the store said in a news release. "The revenue received is crucial in supporting five chapters in the St. Louis area – located in St. Peters, St. Louis, Florissant, Bowling Green and Manchester – along with their goal to advocate for veterans and their families for important issues, including access to quality health care."

“We’re thrilled to expand our 24 year relationship with the new Crestwood opening,” Business Director for Vietnam Veterans of America Quentin Butcher said in the release. “The money we receive is so important to benefitting our nation’s veterans of all generations, so we encourage everyone in the community get in touch with us and schedule a donation pick-up or drop off their gently used items at the store’s on-site Community Donation Center.”
The Crestwood store and Community Donation Center will be open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m.-9 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
