Rotary Club Donates Winter Coats to Lindbergh Students

The Crestwood-Sunset Hills group donated nearly 50 winter coats and spring jackets.

The Crestwood-Sunset Hills Rotary Club recently donated close to 50 winter coats and spring jackets to Lindbergh Schools, providing warmth for several students in need, according to a news release from the Lindbergh School District.

Lindbergh’s Director of Assessments and Student Services Jill Lawson said school secretaries, counselors and social workers helped identify students in need of winter gear. They then matched those boys and girls with one of the many coats or jackets, all of which were were brand new items.

“Lindbergh is so fortunate to have service clubs that support our students and our community” Superintendent Dr. Jim Simpson said in the release. Simpson is also a Rotary member. “We are thankful to the Rotary for their generous donations that is benefiting students in grades K-12.”
