Sunset Hills is getting closer to having its own doggie day care center.

Patches Ellis is readying Y Bark Alone, 10390 Watson Rd., between the former ColorArt building and Family Pet Hospital for daytime care of dogs. Before open Ellis will have installed additional fencing around the property and rubbing flooring indoors to contain noise.

Accommodations have been made with Family Pet Hospital to use their parking lot for the influx of traffic during popular drop-off and pick-up times. The facility will not offer overnight boarding.
