Five Things You Need to Know Today Aug. 2

Here's what going on.

1) Sunset Hills Public Works Committee meets 7-8pm, City Hall, discussing primarily the budget for the city's Public Work's department for the coming year.

2) Claire Gempp Davidson Memorial Conservation Commission meets 6:30pm at the Sunset Hills Community Center to discuss budget. This is a park partly owned by the state.

3) Computer class meets 9:30am at Oak Bend Branch Library. Adults only. Free.

4) Tonight is National Night Out of cities fighting crime by organizing get-togethers and other activities, so people learn who their neighbors are, and create a sense of community spirit.
