
1) Joplin's former schools superintendent is now Lindbergh Schools Supt. Dr. Simpson. At 3pm today he will talk about the destruction there, schools destroyed, colleagues impacted by Sunday's tornado. At Lindbergh central office, next to high school. (At least 89 people have lost their lives in a tornado that blew through Joplin—the deadliest in MO ever. A major hospital in the area took a direct hit and is non-operational.)
2) Tornado recovery support session 7pm with mental health professionals at Lindbergh School District administration building, next to the high school. Coping afterward, psychologically.
3) State Rep. Mike Leara (R-District 95) to speak 7pm at Sunset Hills Community Center, a guest of the city's Historical Society. He represents Sunset Hills, Crestwood, Fenton, Grantwood Village and Concord Village.Â
