Fourth of July: What's Open, Closed Around Sunset Hills, Crestwood

As Sunset Hills and Crestwood residents celebrate the Fourth of July with this long weekend, many local businesses are changing their hours to give employees a holiday break.

The following is a list of what Patch found to be open and closed Thursday and Friday, July 4-5. 

Attractions/Entertainment

  • Laumeier Sculpture Park: Indoor galleries and the museum shop will be closed July 4 and 5, though the grounds will remain open.
Businesses
  • Schnucks: Open regular business hours Thursday.
  • Walgreens: Open regular business hours.
  • Crestwood Bowl will be closed through July 8 for its annual cleaning. The July 6 9 Pin No Tap Tournament will go on as scheduled.
  • Watson Coin & Jewelry will be closed until July 9
  • Style Your Space will be closed on Thursday, returning to normal business hours on Friday.
Government Offices
  • City of Crestwood: City Hall will be closed.
  • City of Sunset Hills: City Hall will be closed.
  • St. Louis County Library: Branches will be closed Thursday, but will reopen Friday.
  • U.S. Postal Service: Post offices are closed and mail will not be delivered Thursday, but the postal service schedule resumes with offices open and mail delivered on Friday.
