Holiday Lights Still Being Collected for Recycling in a Big Way

Sunset Hills's collection bin is just inside the lobby of its new Community Center.

The City of Sunset Hills is still collecting strings of holiday lights to safely and efficiently recycle, whether the lights work or not.

Just drop them into a huge box sitting inside the door of the Community Center on the city government campus at Lindbergh Boulevard and West Watson Road.

The Community Center also has a fine, equipped exercise room and skylight gym. There's also free coffee in the lobby, snack machines down the hall, a big screen TV, free wireless Internet connection, comfy sofas and chairs and plenty of friendly interaction.

Another TV screen above the recycle holiday lights box provides schedules of classes and activities the Center offers. The Center also is available to rent for your own parties, award events and meetings. Rates on everything appeared reasonable--if not a bargain.
