How Much Rain Fell in South County this Weekend?
The leftovers of Hurricane Isaac dumped several inches of rain on the area; find out how much we received.

Areas in South County received 2-3.5 inches of rain over the Labor Day weekend from the remnants of Hurricane Isaac, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Monday.
Rain fell sporadically in the area from Friday to Sunday as the former hurricane moved up from Louisiana and Mississippi.
Mehlville received 2.1 inches. Fenton received 3.4 inches and the most rain—7.8 inches—fell in Centralia, Ill., according to the National Weather Service.Â

Forecasts predicted anywhere from 3 to 5 inches in St. Louis.
The National Weather Service currently has a hazardous weather outlook in effect with expectations of storms throughout the week.Â

"The primary severe weather threat will be large hail and damaging winds. Thunderstorms are likely Thursday night through Friday night as a powerful storm system moves through the region," according to NWS.
