May 11: Opie and Andy to Go Fishing in Sunset Hills

1) Fishing Derby in Sunset Hills Watson Trail Park Lake, 6-7:30pm. Last year, this is how the city website described it: "Anglers of all ages may compete for trophies awarded for the smallest, largest, and most fish caught."

2) It's National School Nurse Day. Thank goodness for them, am I right?

3) Think Airheads and Skittles, hot dogs and bagels. All manner of food will be sold at Crestwood's Aquatic Center concession this summer, and the city is taking bids now from vendors through 1 p.m. May 24 to supply it all. Check out this link for the list and bid info.

4)  Middle School has its 8th grade Field Day during school hours. Then, it's 7th and 8th grade band concerts beginning at 6pm, in the district auditorium at Lindbergh High School.
