McDonald's Kicks Off 'Give a Hand' Fundraiser

McDonald’s recently celebrated the launch of its St. Louis-area "Give a Hand" campaign at its .

Now through Nov. 20, customers can purchase a paper hand at participating restaurants to benefit local families in need. Denominations of $1, $3 or $5 are available.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will support the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Metro St. Louis. The organization, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary, provides a "home-away-from-home" for families of seriously ill children.
