Local Editor Leaves for Chesterfield Patch

Patch Editor Jean Whitney has been re-assigned to Chesterfield Patch and Alyssa Stahr, from Oakville Patch, takes over the editorship of Sunset Hills-Crestwood Patch today, Aug. 3.

Since Pearl Harbor Day (a rainy Dec. 7), Sunset Hills and Crestwood have been connected through Patch to a nationwide network of 800 online hyperlocal news websites.

Sunset Hills-Crestwood Patch Editor Jean Whitney launched our local website, traveling the cities with a digital camera and reaching out to city government, the Lindbergh schools, local freelancer writers, local businesses and families.

Then the tornado hit both our cities on New Year's Eve. We all carried on, but not forgetting about each other and how we share when things get tough.

Sunset Hills and Crestwood will continue to move through the 2010s with Patch keeping it local in news, events, people and opinions of Crestwood and Sunset Hills residents. We are keeping our two communities connected in this digital age—and connected to the world at large.

No matter how much communication changes, or doesn't change in the future, Patch aims to help keep us in the midst of it all!

So despite a change in editors for Sunset Hills-Crestwood Patch, you the community, will continue to engage on your forum—your soapbox, your stage—via Patch.

I personally want to thank you all for the help and involvement with Patch from its inception. It certainly wouldn't have happened without you.

I look forward to watching your communities continue to thrive, share and grow on your Sunset Hills-Crestwood Patch.
