Crestwood Strip Mall Space Seeking the Right Tenant
Crestwood Commons, which houses Gordman's and Best Buy, has another 50,000 sq. ft. still available for lease.

A strip mall space across from Crestwood Court is officially back on the leasing market.
Crestwood Commons, 9440-9490 Watson Rd., has 58,000 sq. ft. available on the west side of the building, which is adjacent to Schnucks. The space can be divided into 15-25,000 sq. ft. portions, said Jeff Eisenberg, who is marketing the space.
Best Buy and Gordmans are the current anchoring tenants.

Eisenberg said the space has been vacant for some time because a couple interested tenants fell through. However, he believes its proximity to the grocery store has made it an attractive amenity to businesses looking for repeat traffic.
He's also been reluctant to bring in a temporary tenant, like a holiday store, in hopes that someone with more permanent interest in Crestwood will step forward. Â

Despite the assumption that retailers are moving away from big box-size concept, Eisenberg said there aren't many available in metro St. Louis.
