Web + Log = Blog. It's like writing an email and then pressing submit. It's that easy.
Blogging is the word that describes the process of keeping a log, or journal online, on the Internet, at your computer. It shows up on Patch.

But Patch has found Sunset Hills and Crestwood residents slow to join. That said, courageous resident and Sunset Hills Alderman Scott Haggerty jumped right in, and swiftly wrote a blog entry about how he felt when bin Laden turned up on the news. Can we get an Amen? Or maybe a reply?
What to write as a blogger? It's as straightforward as writing down what you said to that person next to you waiting in line, or someone you talked to while choosing embellishments at Michael's arts and crafts store.

I personally have blogged in the past about scrapbooking, for example. On the other hand, I've also blogged about personal political views during the presidential election campaigns.
It can be the equivalent of a few sticky notes on your fridge door, or it can be the first chapter of your own War and Peace. It can be teen sci-fi inventions, or photos of your dog. Video can be posted too. Then look for comments from others, afterward. Seems fun.
Need a job? I know three people who got full-time paying jobs from blogging.
