The Ste. Genevieve Master Gardeners annual Garden Walk, held in the downtown historic district of America’s oldest French Colonial village, is a unique opportunity to tour private and public gardens. Several gardens are part of historic homes in Ste. Genevieve and are typical of the 18th century time period. Walk hours 10am-4pm. Master Gardeners plant sale begins 9am Saturday and continues through Sunday. Both days: Ste. Genevieve Art Guild garden-themed show and sale; Centre for French Colonial Life exhibits. Saturday only: morning Farmers Market; free tractor and wagon rides to gardens; vendors: daylilies & hostas, and hand-forged garden tools; children’s educational games and activities; evening guided walking history tour of Ste. Genevieve National Historic Landmark District. $7 individual; $6/individual, groups of five or more; children 12 and under-free. Cash or check only. Ticket valid both days. Welcome Center, 66 S.
