Water Main Break on Sappington Road at Chatwood Terrace

Missouri American Water had a lane blocked off on Sappington Road near Big Bend Thursday afternoon to repair a six-inch water main that burst.

Residents in the Chatwood Terrace loop and the other side of Sappington Road could expect to lose water service for several hours, workers said.

The company hung notice on doors in the neighborhood when the work began, to notify residents.
