ACC STL Announces Candidates for its Esteemed 2025 Diversity and Inclusion Summer Internship Program
The Chapter's dedication to this program was recognized last year with the 2024 Best Diversity Initiative Program award from the global ACC.

St. Louis (June 19, 2025) – The Association of Corporate Counsel – St. Louis Chapter (ACC STL) is delighted to announce the candidates selected for its globally recognized 2025 Diversity and Inclusion Summer Internship Program.
This impactful program thoughtfully matches each summer intern with a seasoned in-house attorney mentor, who is also an active member of the Chapter. The initiative is strategically designed to foster greater diversity and inclusion within the St. Louis legal community. By providing immersive internship experiences, the Chapter aims to empower talented students as they embark on successful careers in both regional law firms and corporate legal departments. Complementing these internships, the Chapter offers valuable supplementary educational and networking opportunities to support the interns' professional development throughout the summer and beyond.

The legal interns for 2025 include:
- MiTek: Samiat Solebo, University of Missouri School of Law
- Bayer US - Crop Science: Umutoni Sebunyenzi, Southern Illinois University Simmons Law School
- Charter Communications: Thomas DiGiantommaso, Washington University School of Law
- Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District: Favour Samuel, Washington University School of Law
Since its establishment in 2012, the Chapter’s internationally acclaimed Diversity Internship Program has played a pivotal role in providing participants with invaluable firsthand exposure to in-house legal practice. Throughout the program, these aspiring legal professionals will gain comprehensive insights into diverse aspects of legal advocacy and corporate practice, developing a strong understanding of the critical intersection between business objectives and legal counsel across various substantive areas.
