Visitation Sunday For West Newsmagazine Founder Doug Huber

Douglas H. (Doug) Huber died suddenly on Thursday, April 12 at the age of 59, according to .

Huber is the founder and publisher of West Newsmagazine and Mid Rivers Newsmagazine. Huber reportedly started the West magazine in 1996 then expanded with Mid Rivers Newsmagazine to create The Newsmagazine Network.

According to Schrader Funeral Home, visitation is from 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday April 15 at Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road in Ballwin. Graveside service is set for 11 a.m. Monday, but the location is still to be determined. 

According to West Newsmagazine's website, Huber is survived by his wife, Sharon, and his two sons – Max and Jack. He was loved and admired by his cherished family, the staff of Newsmagazine Network, and numerous friends.

A tribute to our dear friend will be published in a future issue, the website states.
