Burglary Suspects May Be Passing Out Fliers

Police are warning residents to watch out for anyone handing out home improvement fliers, they may be connected to last week's daytime burglaries in Town and Country.

 The Town and Country police department is warning residents to watch out for individuals handing out fliers offering home repair services. Investigators would like to hear from any neighbors who have recently come in contact with the indivuals.

In an email alert Thursday, police stated the individuals handing out the flyers may be connected to recent Town and Country burglaries.

Investigators stated in the alert that a man was seen in the area of a burglary last Tuesday on Thornbury Drive near Clayton and Bopp roads.  As previously reported by Patch, fThis was the first of two burglaries last week that investigators believe are connected.

Thursday's email alert states that detectives have learned the suspects may be driving a red truck. Police said they previously warned residents to watch for a white vehicle, possibly a Toyota Camry.

"Burglars tend to switch vehicles on a regular basis so we are interested in both vehicles," Thursday's email alert from police stated.

Police advise residents not to make any contact with the phone number on the flyer in this article.
