Dog in Car Lands Owner in Jail

Walmart customer wanted by police gets busted by man's best friend.

MANCHESTER, MO -- On June 19, Manchester police responded to a call at a local Walmart. According to police, the initial call was for an animal complaint, but it ended in a fugitive arrest. 

During the call for a dog left unattended in a car in the  parking lot, police found that the dog’s owner was wanted on charges from another police department. The dog owner was arrested by Manchester police, booked and then released to the other police department.

Animal Complaint: A woman called police to report three dogs running loose in a neighborhood. She also told police that her dog was attacked by one of the loose dogs.
