Is Mystery Thief a Person or a Pet?

That's what police and the staff at Petsmart are wondering, but whatever the answer, the thief appears to have a serious flea and tick problem.

Apparently, someone (or something) with a serious flea and tick problem is stealing treatment supplies without being spotted.

According to police, in the Manchester Highlands Shopping Center, was notified on May 19 by its Chesterfield location that several flea and tick products are disappearing from a store shelves.

Manchester Petsmart staff checked their shelves and found the products wre gone. In fact, the estimated value of the stolen flea and tick treatments is $1,019.87.

"So the guy must live in a tick infested area," Manchester Police Captain Charles Hunn tells Patch.

Police tell Patch they do not have a suspect or description of the suspect and the thief was not caught on surveillance video.
