Jewelry Thefts Top Manchester Police Blotter

Almost $1,500 in jewelry was stolen from one Manchester home in this most recent police blotter. The following information was supplied by the Manchester Police Department.

May 2: 700 block of Chancellor Heights Drive

Burglary: A woman told police that someone broke into her home through her locked patio doors. The resident noticed the doors were left ajar when she returned home. Police said several rooms were ransacked and jewelry boxes opened. No word on what was stolen or a value.

May 2: 200 block of Highlands Boulevard Drive

Stealing: Two men left the  with two televisions in their car. They did not pay for them and a sales associate tried to stop them, but was unsuccessful. Police are reviewing surveillance video and have not reported any arrests in this incident.

April 28: 800 block of KnickerBacker Drive

Burglary: A woman told police that she returned home to find her front door kicked open. Several pieces of jewelry, valued at $1,450, were stolen.
