Lawn Care Service Moving to Manchester
Lawn Mangers hopes to open its third St. Louis area location in Manchester.

A special use permit is being requested by Linda Zweifel of Lawn Mangers to open a lawn care services business, Lawn Managers, at 120 Old Meramec Station Road.
The property is zoned commercial.
Zweifel she she has been in business for 32 years and currently has lawn care services in O'Fallon and High Ridge and would now like to expand to Manchester. Business hours are typically 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

She told aldermen last Monday night that she does not own the lot yet and the land purchase in pending on their approval of the special use permit that will allow her to open the business.
"If I cannot operate, then I won't buy it," Zweifel said.

Zweifel said she plans to make numerous improvements on the outside of the building and eventually plans to fix the fence on the property.
"I plan on doing more improvements than you can guess," Zweifel said.
Zweifel also said she hopes to purchase the two lots next to the 120 Old Meramec Station Road lot.
Alderman Michael Clement told the Manchester Board of Aldermen that the Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously recommended the board approve the original request for the special use permit to operate the business.
Zweifel hopes the open the lawn care service the first week of May.
No hazardous materials will be stored at the site.
