Manchester Mayor & Aldermen Sworn In, New Businesses Coming
Manchester's reelected aldermen and Mayor were sworn in Monday night, along with newly elected Alderman Barbara Stevens. Two new businesses are also coming to Manchester.
Manchester's reelected aldermen and Mayor were sworn in Monday night at the Manchester Board of Aldermen meeting, along with newly elected Alderman Barbara Stevens. Mayor David Willson and aldermen Marilyn Ottenad and John Diehl were all three reelected and sworn in for their new two-year terms Monday. Ottenad was also reelected as the board president.
Outgoing alderman Hal Roth received a plaque of appreciation for his two years of service.

Also Monday, special use permits were approved for two new businesses which are now moving to Manchester. Aldermen voted unanimously to approve both permits, one for a lawn care service and one for a liquor store.
Linda Zweifel of Lawn Managers plans to open her third Lawn Care Service at 120 Old Meramec Station Road and George Randall of Internet Wines and Spirits is interested in opening the liquor store at 14201 Manchester Road, in the old Bassett Furniture Store building.
Zweifel already has lawn care services in High Ridge and O'Fallon, MO. and plans to have the Manchester location open by the end of May.
Randall already owns two stores in the St. Louis area and one in Illinois.
