Police Ask for Residents' Help in Burglary Investigations
A tallying number of burglaries have put extra Town and Country Police on patrol, but they are also asking for residents to be vigilant in reporting suspicious activity in the area.

With at least four similar burglary incidents reported in the area, Town and Country Police have increased patrols and are asking residents for vigilance in reporting suspicious activity.
Police said the burglaries have all occurred on cul-de-sacs, and they believe burglars are targeting homes in the back of courts.
As previously reported by Patch, one incident took place in the 12800 block of Topping Manor Drive on June 28 and another home on Brookwood Road was broken into, ransacked and burglarized on June 24 while the homeowners were at work. Another was reported July 9 in the 12800 block of Brighton Woods Drive with forced entry and the master bedroom ransacked and burglarized.
The most recent burglary took place July 16 in the 12700 block of Post Oak at 4:16 p.m. Police said a door at the rear of the residence was forced open and set off an alarm system. Police arrived at the scene, but no suspects were found on site.
