Principia Girls Basketball Dominates Conference
At 275 enrollment Principia is the smallest school in the Metro League.

The smallest school in the newly formed Metro League, (19-3), is one of the top small-school girls basketball teams in the area. The enrollment there is 275.
"I had no idea we would be this good," Principia coach Shad Nichols said in an article in STLhighschoolsports.com. "I thought we would be one of the better teams in the state in our class, but I didn't think we'd go through the conference like this. We haven't had a lot of close games, which I never expected."

The Panthers have two regular season games remaining, and they're both conference matches.
They face (15-7, 4-2) on Thursday and (6-11, 0-5) at home on Tuesday.

Principia seniors Liz Gilman and Kara Johnson lead the league in scoring averaging 15.2 and 15.1 points per game respectively.
Gilman and Johnson have both given verbal commitments to McKendree University (IL).
