Police ID Suspect in Westminster Thefts

Town and Country police are searching for one man they said has a history of burglary and another woman in connection to the March thefts.

In an email alert, Town and Country police named Mark Davenport as a suspect in recent thefts of computers and a GPS from the Westminster Christian Academy Parking lot.

As previously reported by Town and Country - Manchester Patch, on March 19 two Dell laptop computers and a Garmin GPS system were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the parking lot of

Police reported that shortly after the theft, the two laptops were purchased by a person who was approached by the suspects in a Quick Trip parking lot, at Gravois Road and Chippewa Street.

Police are still searching for a man and woman in connection to the thefts, but now state in an email alert the man they want to talk to is Mark Davenport. The email states that Davenport has a history of burglary and stealing and is currently on probation and parole for those crimes. 

Investigators said Davenport may be driving a gold, four-door, 1997 Toyota Avalon.

Investigators are still trying to identify the woman. They believe her first name is "Tonya." She is described as 25 to 32-years-old, long wavy brown hair with tattoos, including one possibly on the left side of her neck.
