2013 Fair U City, U City Jazz Festival Schedule

Heading out to Fair U City this weekend? University City Patch has everything you need to know before you go. 

A weekend of entertainment, carnival rides and games is coming to University City. Fair U City will be held Friday, Sept. 6 to Sunday, Sept. 8, at Heman Park.

The fair features rides, food vendors, community vendors, and activities for the whole family.

Admission into the festival is free and open to all; tickets may be purchased for food and rides. 

Food costs $1.25/ticket and rides cost $3/ticket.

• Fair open — 5-9 p.m.

• 6 p.m. — Starlifter / U.S. Air Force Band – Midwest Region 
• 7:30 p.m. — Nikko Smith 

• Fair open — 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
• Fun Run — 8 a.m.
• U City Jazz Festival: 1-9 p.m.
• Puppy Pool Party: Noon – 4 p.m.

• 1 p.m. — Clave Sol featuring Phil Gomez
• 2 p.m. — St. Louis All Stars – Tribute to Wes Montgomery 
• 3:30 p.m. — The Joe Mancuso Quintet
• 5 p.m.: Have U Heard? Featuring Tome Byrne
• 8 p.m. — Willie Akins and Montez Coleman 

• Fair open — 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
• Classic Car Show: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
• Puppy Pool Party: Noon – 4 p.m.
