Dawn Beasley Appointed Assistant City Manager for University City

February 18, 2022, University City – City Manager Gregory Rose has appointed Dawn Beasley as Assistant City Manager, effective February 28, 2022. Her role will include administering City projects, programs and activities, as well as research and analysis necessary to make recommendations to the City Manager regarding potential improvements to business practices and procedures.

Beasley has been a human resources professional in the not-for-profit field for the past 11 years, most recently as director of HR and Workplace Culture for the Jewish Federation of St. Louis. Β Earlier in her career she served as HR Manager for the United Way of Greater St. Louis and HR generalist for Hospice of Illinois. She earned her both her MBA and Bachelor of Science in Human Resources from Lindenwood University.

β€œDawn Beasley’s senior management and organizational strategy experience will be a great asset for University City as we continue to focus on workforce effectiveness and organizational excellence. Her demonstrated success in employee engagement, full-cycle recruitment and talent management, and leadership coaching will make her a valued member of our team,” said City Manager Rose.

As Assistant City Manager, Beasley will also supervise Technology and Print Center divisions, as well as supervise communications.
