On Tuesday, April 5, U City voters will be asked about Prop. F, a proposed quarter-cent sales tax that would provide funding for fire operations.
Prop. F would provide additional funding for the fire department while also ensuring that the thousands of visitors to our community help pay the cost of emergency services since they benefit from these services when visiting our city.

The funds raised through Prop. F would help maintain the quality emergency services we receive in U City while also stabilizing retirement benefits for our firefighters and paramedics. A secure pension fund will also help keep our well-trained career firefighters here in our community.
Election Day is Tuesday, April 5, and early voting begins Feb. 22.Β
