Get Out: Green Ball, COCAcabana, U City in Bloom Plant Sale

It's a busy weekend in University City, full of fun activities. 

Here are some ideas for the weekend of April 26-28.

Friday, April 26

• Green Ball at the Moonrise Hotel: The Green Ball 2013 at Moonrise Hotel is Friday. The fourth annual event runs from 7-11 p.m. at the Moonrise. The evening benefits theEarthWays Center at the Missouri Botanical Garden.
• COCAcabana: COCAcabana is COCA’s only annual fundraiser, providing critical financial support for COCA’s arts education programs. The event, featuring celebrity guest Billy Bush, begins at 6 p.m. at COCA

Saturday, April 27

• U City in Bloom Plant Sale — The U City in Bloom annual plant sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27, and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, at the Heman Park Community Center.
• Darts for Safety Tourney — The Professional Firefighters of University City Local 2665 will hold the second Darts for Safety Tournament on April 27 at Blueberry Hill. The event begins at noon and is a fundraiser for Backstoppers. 

Sunday, April 28

• Wonderland Tea Party: Spend an afternoon with Dr. Seuss and Friends at The Wonderland Tea Party at Dennis and Judith Jones Visitor and Education Center in Forest Park. For tickets, email kcole@forestparkforever.org.
