Get Out: The Taste of U City Is May 9

The second Taste Of U. City is Thursday, May 9, from 5-8 p.m. at Heman Community Center.  This year’s event, co-sponsored by Fifth/Third Bank, also supports Operation Food Search. 

The all-inclusive tickets are $20, plus a donation of canned goods for OFS. Once inside, guests may taste a variety of food and drinks from more than 30 local restaurants and specialty food stores. This includes beer from Anheuser-Busch, mixed drinks from Major Brands, and a full variety of ethnic foods. 

Tickets can be purchased online at www.universitycitychamber.com, in advance at the University City Public Library, or at the door.

This year’s event will include cooking demonstrations and local entertainment, along with drawings for unique raffle prizes.
