How Delmar Loop Street Life Influences Local Artists

The vibrance and "walkability" of the Loop have an influence on artists in surrounding neighborhoods, according to St. Louis Beacon.

Artists who live in the neighborhoods bordering the Delmar Loop--including West End andΒ Skinker-Debaliviere--can't deny the influence of their surroundings, at least, according to a recent feature in the St. Louis Beacon.

"The linchpin for growth in surrounding areas is the 'Delmar Loop," writes contributor Johnny Buse.

"The mesh of walkability, economic diversity and artists that research says are conducive to grassroot arts stretch down Delmar and into neighborhoods to the north and south."
