Last Chance: Bulk Pickup, Tire Collection

•  — This week the central area of University City is set for spring bulk trash collection. Dispose of your small and large household items like furniture, bedding, cabinets, doors/windows (all glass must be wrapped in cardboard), rugs, carpet, washers and dryers, refrigerators (doors must be removed), television's and small air conditioners, etc. Call the Public Works and Parks Department 314-505-8560, to confirm acceptable items or your collection date.
• — The Cities of Pagedale, Wellston and University City are partnering to host a free tire recycling collection event on Saturday, May 19, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., 1420 Ferguson Avenue (parking lot). Free to residents of Pagedale, Wellston and University City. Accepted: Car and light duty truck tires, with or without rims. Up to 10 tires accepted per vehicle.
