Man Stole $2,100 in Items in U City Burglary, Police Say
Police said the defendant and two other men stole two televisions and cash.
A 17-year-old man faces criminal charges for a burglary in the 8300 block of Orchard Avenue in University City.
Kenneth Reed, 17, of the 9900 block of Baltimore Avenue in Overland, was charged Friday with second-degree burglary and felony stealing.
University City Police said Reed and two other men broke into a home in the 8300 block of Orchard Avenue in U City at about 7 p.m. Oct. 20 and stole two flat-screen televisions and $379 in cash.

Police said the total value of property stolen was about $2,100.
Reed was being held in University City jail on Friday. Bail was set at $10,000.
