2. U City Police: Burglars Forced Entry to Homes — Police responded to several burglary calls on July 17. 
3. Update: Crews Douse Warehouse Fire in U City — A warehouse fire near the new University City Fire House caused black smoke to be seen for miles on a Saturday afternoon. 
4. Friend Charged With Murder of U City Man — St. Louis County Police report that Cameron Reed, 25, shot U City resident ONeal Stafford after a heated argument between the two friends.
5. U City Man Carried .38 cal Revolver in Pocket, Police Say — Landon Abrian Williamson, 21, of the 7100 block of Hazelwood Lane in U City, was charged July 1 with unlawful use of a weapon. He had a .38 cal revolver in his front pants pocket, according to a court document.
6. Witnesses Spotted Burglar Running From U City Home, Police Say — A toolbox was stolen from the garage and a copper downspout had been stolen from the home’s exterior, police said.
7. Gunpoint Robbery Reported in Washington University Parking Lot — A student was robbed at gunpoint in a Washington University parking lot on Tuesday morning. The university sent a notification about the incident to the campus community just before 1 p.m. 
8. Man Broke Into Cars Parked at U City's Community Centers, Police Say — A man is accused of breaking into four cars in University City, including three parked outside Centennial Commons, after one victim found his car stereo for sale on Craigslist.
