MoDOT Ready For Predicted Wintry Mix
MoDOT says all crews are on hand for the freezing rain and snow that may fall across the St. Louis area.
The tells Patch its crews have been pretreating roads in preparation for the wintry mix predicted to hit St. Louis and surrounding areas Wednesday.
According to the National Weather Service, light snow, sleet and rain is forecasted for the area.

MoDOT Spokesperson Kara PriceΒ stated in an email that MoDOT isΒ ready for the forecasted winter weather with crews pre-treating roads and bridges with salt brine. Price said MoDOT is monitoring the weather forecast and has full crews, 460 employees and 204 trucks, on standby for Wednesday's possible storm.
She said road crewsΒ will focus on interstates first.
