Police Nab Man for Carrying .357 Handgun in His Shorts
Police were searching for a suspect in a drive-by shooting that killed a University City teenager Thursday.

A man was arrested for carrying a .357 cal Smith & Wesson handgun in his shorts. Police were searching for a suspect in in which a University City teenager was killed.
Terrel E. Sanders, 22, of the 6500 block of Corbitt Avenue, was charged Friday with unlawful use of a weapon for carrying the concealed handgun.
arrested Sanders at about 11:45 p.m. at the intersection of Melrose and Partridge avenues, according to a police report. The drive-by shooting was at Plymouth Avenue near Sutter Avenue.

Sanders is being held in the University City jail in lieu of a $20,000 bond.
The charges against Sanders are not related to the drive-by shooting.
