RFT: Cheese-ology Offers Best Mac and Cheese in St. Louis
There are dozens of places to get this comfort food around the city--but why wouldn't you go to the one that specializes in it?
Feign your surprise, folks: RFT readers chose Cheese-ology, 6602 Delmar Blvd. in University City, as the St. Louis area's favorite place for mac and cheese, the publication revealed in its Restaurants 2013 guide.
“Even with a seemingly narrow focus on cheesy noodles, the menu’s interpretations of this comfort food favorite are broad,” according to RFT. “Besides the ‘Classic’ (with American and cheddar), there are mac & cheeses packed with bacon (the ‘Bacon Bacon,’ naturally), spike with hot sauce (the ‘Buffalo Chicken’) and studded with tender steak (the ‘Philly Cheese’).”
They also got a nod for their meat-free and vegan options.

Runners up included Plush, Sweetie Pie’s, Hwy 61 Roadhouse and Cleveland-Heath.
