St. Louis Fed Sues McCarthy Building, Winco: 5 Things to Know

A lawsuit filed by the the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis naming U City's Winco alleges more than $1.5 in damages, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

According to a recent article in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch,Β theΒ Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is suing Ladue-based McCarthy Building Cos.Β and University City-basedΒ Winco WindowsΒ Β in connection to the installation of 500 windows the Fed says now need replacing.

The St. Louis Fed reportedly estimates damages at more thanΒ $1.5 million.

The article statesΒ McCarthyΒ was the construction manager on the original job and is now being sued of breach of contract.
