Sutter-Meyer Society Honors Elsie Glickert
The University City resident has a been a tireless volunteer for the organization.

At the annual Meeting of the Sutter-Meyer Society held May 6, Elsie Glickert was honored for her tireless efforts to make the oldest building in University City a place for people to come experience what life was like before U City was incorporated.Β
The Farmhouse has been lived in from the time it was built in 1873 until it was sold to the City of University City in 2004. Glickert's relatives, the Meyers, lived in the farmhouse for 96 years so she knows it inside and out.Β
Several years ago she was able to describe to an artist what the original buildings on the farm looked like to the artist. Β
