THE GALLERY Issues 2013-2014 Call for Submissions

The deadline for 2013-2014 submissions will be in April, and a jury of local artists will meet in May to choose the exhibitors for the next year.

THE GALLERY of the University City Public Library is seeking applicants for juried one-month shows for its 32ndΒ season.

According to a press release from the Library, the large dedicated exhibition space of 1,250 sq. ft. is suitable only for wall-mounted work. The Library is not able to accommodate free-standing pieces or works requiring display cases.

Applicants should be familiar with the space and have sufficient work to mount a one- or two-person exhibit. Exhibitors are chosen by a jury of local artists.

A short resume of artistic background, 12 images of recent work on a CD, and a list with dimensions and medium of each piece are required.

Send or bring entries to THE GALLERY, University City Public Library, 6701 Delmar Blvd., University City, MO 63130 by Tuesday, April 30.

CDs will be returned by mail if a self-addressed stamped envelope is included.
