U City Council Member Crow Talks Akin at DNC

U City Councilman Terry Crow, a member of the DNC's Rules Committee, discusses why he believes that Democratic candidates can benefit from the controversy over Republican U.S. Senate candidate Todd Akin's remark about "legitimate rape."

The Democratic National Convention kicked off Tuesday in Charlotte, NC, and local Democrats expressed hope for a strong showing by Democrats in November.

City Council Member Terry Crow sits on the DNC's Rules Committee. He told the St. Louis Beacon Monday that he was hopeful about the party's chances this fall. 

Crow credited the controversy around Rep. Todd Akin and his for firing up the state's Democratic party.
