The Lions ended the basketball season for the MICDS Rams on the Rams home court. In the Class 4, District 6 semifinals, the University City Lions defeated the host Rams, 51-49.
U. City took an an early advantage, leading 12-7 at the quarter. In the second quarter, MICDS outscored the Lions 19-11.
Robin Thompson led the way for the Rams with 16 points. Dartmouth bound Thomas Militello closed out his high school career with 10 points. Sophomore guard Rashad Lindsey had 8.
