U. City To Hold Public Meetings On Olive Redevelopment Agreement
The meetings are scheduled for 6 p.m. on August 8 and August 17 at the Heman Park Community Center.

UNIVERSITY CITY, MO β University city officials will hold public meetings Wednesday, August 8 at 6 p.m. and Friday, August 17 at 6 p.m. at the Heman Park Community Center to obtain citizen input on a proposed redevelopment agreement for the Olive/170 project in the city's third ward.
The meetings will be hosted by Mayor Terry Crow, and Third Ward Councilmembers Bwayne Smotherson and Stacy Clay.
The city says it will share information and answer questions about the project and how it will affect nearby neighborhoods and outline how residents can participate in creating a plan to revitalize the third ward.

"The purpose is to really hear from the community what they would like to see in terms of benefits that will be in the redevelopment agreement," Clay said at a council meeting July 9. "We're setting up a format by which it's not just folks coming up the podium, but small groups in which all voices will be heard. We'll actually really be requesting that everyone speak so there is really a shared vision that comes out of these meetings."
