U City Man Charged After Firing Shots From His Porch
University City Police said Delonzo Ray White is a convicted felon and banned from possessing handguns.

A University City man who fired a handgun off his front porch now faces a criminal charge for the incident. Police said he is a convicted felon and was not allowed to possess a handgun.
Delonzo White, 22, of the 6500 block of Bartmer Avenue in U City, was charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of a firearm.
University City Police said White fired shots off his front porch June 27.

Police responded and found that White had pleaded guilty to second-degree assault Jan. 19, 2012, and was sentenced to four years in prison. As a convicted felon, he is not allowed to own or possess any firearm.
White is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Bail was set at $10,000.
