University City Police May Want To Talk With You...About A Job

UNIVERSITY CITY, MO β The University City Police Department will hold a hiring event Saturday, September 15, at the Heman Park Community Center. Registration will open at 9 a.m. and written and physical testing will begin at 10 a.m., the department said in a news release.
"The University City Police Department, a progressive, diverse and community-oriented team of law enforcement professionals, is seeking to fill immediate openings," the department said. "If you are a quality individual, looking for a fulfilling career with a prestigious law enforcement agency, this event is for you."
The event will provide an opportunity for candidates to complete the first three phases of the hiring process, officials said, including the application, written exam and physical fitness test. Starting salary is $53,283 for candidates with a bachelor's degree, and benefits include relocation assistance, tuition reimbursement, health, dental, vision and life insurance, and police academy sponsorships.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, at least 21 years old, with a valid driver's license and high school diploma or G.E.D. Applicants must also pass written and physical tests and a criminal background check.
