Galloping for Girls 5M/1M Trail Run/Walk & Family Festival
- When/Where? Saturday, Aug. 18 at 7:30 a.m. at , 1615 Schwede Rd., Wentzville.
- What? Participate in this second annual event and benefit Galloping for Girls. The race starts at 7:30 a.m. and costs $30. The event also features food, music, games, vendors and raffle drawings.

- When/Where? Friday-Sunday at , 500 S Riverside Dr., St. Charles.
- What? Enjoy food, crafts, live music and more at this annual free event. The festival opens from 4-10 p.m. on Friday; 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Cottleville Family Fun Nights Sponsored by Rib City
- When/Where? Friday, Aug. 17 at 6 p.m. at Legacy Park and Amphiteatre, Highway N & 5th St, Cottleville.
- What? Enjoy fun for whole family with activities for kids and adults. Kids activities include: a bounce house and face painter. There's also live music, food and drinks. At 8:15 activities close down for an outdoor movie. Admission to the park and movie are free! Only $3 gets kids a wristband good for unlimited activities, games and prizes.

Auditions for “The Creepy Creeps of Pilgrim Road” and “White Christmas”
- When/Where? Saturday, Aug. 18 at 8:30 a.m. at , 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., Cottleville.
- What? _St. Charles Community College’s Young People’s Theatre will hold open auditions for children ages 8-18 for both plays at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, in the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building on the SCC campus in Cottleville. A parent must be present during the audition process. “The Creepy Creeps of Pilgrim Road” will be performed in the theater of the Fine Arts Building at 7 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Oct. 19-20, and 2 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 20-21.
- When/Where? Sunday, Aug. 19 at 8 a.m. at , 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., Cottleville.
- What? SCC hosts this charity motorcycle ride with all proceeds going to benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. They use the money to fund research into childhood brain tumors. Cost is $35 per bike to participate.
