Memorials Held in Wentzville for Murdered Troy Woman

Two memorial services were held Tuesday for a 42-year-old Lincoln County woman found murdered in her home last week, according to KSDK.

The first service was Tuesday morning at in Wentzville. An evening service will take place at 7 p.m. at Morning Star United Methodist Church in Dardenne Prairie.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for memorial donations to be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation or Caring Bridge, care of , P.O. Box 248, Wentzville, MO 63385.

Faria, 42, was stabbed to death with a kitchen knife in her home in Troy, MO on the night of Tuesday, Dec. 27.

KSDK reported that Faria was said to be battling cancer, according to friends.
