Area's First Snowfall of the Season

Overnight snow and ice caused some problems, and gusty winds kept most people indoors.

The winter's first snowfall fell, luckily, on a Sunday, and many people could just stay home and enjoy it. But that doesn't mean that there weren't problems for people who had to be out and about. A trip from Wentzville to Lake Saint Louis yielded a count of five cars spun out and resting in ditches and against the median.
